So yeah. It’s 4:45am and I’m still awake. I don’t know how it is with me and my whacked biological clock but I find it more comfortable to draw while the sun’s out. This piece reminds me of a nightmare I had while sleeping on a bus.

So I figured since I can’t sleep I’d draw until I felt so. This is basically what I’ve done up until I got lazy and decided to post it already and get to bed. *Yawns*
I recently disovered Illustration Friday. It features artworks that have a unifying theme for the week. It posts a new topic every Friday. I have a lot of time in my hands so I why not? This week’s topic is “Infinite”. I kinda wish today was Friday. D:
sing me silence
for my heart is not calm
my lips are now blue
darkness devours my
sight
pour the moonlight
over me
for the roses have left
my cheeksthe roses are gone
the roses have leftmake me real.

The beautiful poem is by Kokoi and the illustration is by me.
Okey so I was browsing through some computer files and I found some of the stuff I did for commissions to earn zeny back in my old server. Click on the images for a bigger view.

First time I tried coloring on SAI. I find it a lot easier to paint on SAI rather than Photoshop. I dunno, feels lighter somehow. I would still have to trust PS with additional edits though. SAI is a bit limited.

Uni-brow chicks rule! Haha. Practice with foreshortening. I made this on PS, I guess you could tell the difference from the brush strokes. SAI produces a smoother output because of its brush attribute for blending colors while making strokes.

Yaaawwn. And here’s another one done on PS. The soft blending with the colors was done with airbrushing. I only picked certain areas that I want to have a smoother look. (i.e. the legs, the face)
